USAging 50th Annual Conference and Tradeshow

Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk Chicago

USAging is celebrating 50 years! The first Answers on Aging Conference was a gathering of a few hundred Aging Network professionals held in 1975 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC.  As we head to Chicago in 2025, the USAging Answers on Aging Annual Conference and Tradeshow has become the country’s largest gathering of local leaders in aging well at home, attracting more than 1,400 Area Agencies on Aging; tribal aging programs and other federal, state and local leaders in aging; home and community-based services; and caregiving from across the nation.  The USAging Conference has a rich history of providing tremendous opportunities to spur innovation; learn about best and promising practices; network and learn from colleagues; and gain insight into federal policy and national trends that affect older adults, people with disabilities and their caregivers. This is a must-attend conference for anyone working in the Aging Network or wanting to learn more about the services and supports that help older adults thrive in their communities. This year we will offer even more opportunities to share new ideas and proven successes that will continue to move the Aging Network forward! The more than 100 sessions held during the four-day Conference offer a variety of ways to learn about and discuss new and emerging strategies and innovative approaches in service delivery, hot topics, current issues in aging, replicable programs, new opportunities for procuring sustainable funding streams and more.  Attendees will return home full of new insights, program ideas and connections to other Aging Network colleagues who understand the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Lessons Learned: Building California Aging Networks for the Future

In this webinar hosted by USAging’s Aging and Disability Business Institute, speakers shared how community-led networks in California are strengthening their capacity to engage with health care partners. With funding from The SCAN Foundation, the Aging and Disability Business Institute, in partnership with Collaborative Consulting, provided technical assistance to three community-led networks across the state. View this webinar recording to learn how these networks navigated challenges, identified opportunities, and implemented strategic initiatives in response to CalAIM, the California Master Plan for Aging and other health care-oriented opportunities.
